Family: Commelinaceae

This is very decorative "Wandering Jew" find with pastel coloring of white, pink, lilac, and silvery green to the leaves. Makes a wonderful cascading basket plant for indoors or the warm shade garden. Grow in bright shade and rich moist soil, but don't overwater. Easy to grow, however it's not cold tolerant. Native to South America. Names of "Inch Plants" are poorly documented. Our best guess for this plant is a variety offered in Japan that is known as 'Lavender'. We previously sold this in error as the variety 'Lilac'.
