Showy long lasting feathery carmine red bracts held upright in candelabra fashion. Narrow dark green foliage. Grows 4 to 5 feet high. Give morning sun, afternoon shade. Apparently this is a 19th Century hybrid of Pavonia makoyana and Pavonia multiflora. Native to Brazil. Minimum temperature of 32F. USDA zones 9b - 11.
