Family: Boraginaceae This oddly variegated plant has long, gray-green leaves with pale yellowish green mottling through the center of the leaf. This evergreen shrub can grow to 6 feet tall by 6 to 8 feet wide. Large stalks of small clear blue flowers bloom in the spring and into the summer. This is a good plant for seaside gardens. Plant in full sun. It is drought tolerant and often will reseed, but seedlings will probably revert to the all green form. Hardy to about 25F.
