This is a fairly upright shrub to 4 feet high with boldly variegated leaves of white and green. Blooms from summer to fall with ¾" wide, blue-violet flowers from hairy, spiny bracts. Will bloom in part shade but prefers full sun. From India and Burma. 35F. USDA zones 9 - 11.
