Quantity in Basket: None
Small rhizomatous begonia. The name is a bit of a misnomer in that it really should be Copper Kid or something with a small name, but just didn't seem to fit. The picture doesn't do justice to the strong overall copper color of the leaf. Younger leaves have somewhat shallow lobes but mature leaves are more star shaped. The copper coloring is most vivid in the center and along the central veins and along the sparsely hairy edge. A smaller begonia but still vigorous and easy to grow with plenty of white to light pink flowers in spring. A good candidate for a windowsill, small basket, or just as a potted plant. New introduction for 2017. (Thompson)
