This recently released begonia has roughly star-shaped medium-sized leaves that are multicolored, although muted in tone. The green leaves are dominated by dark brown markings, either solid or patterned, which cover nearly all the spaces between the leaf veins . Each leaf generally has a silvery streak along the end of each main vein that has a strong lavender tint. While the coloring is understated, it is striking and distinctive. The leaves are sparsely covered with hairs. There aren't many begonias with lavender streaks that are easy to grow, faultless, and that make a perfectly shaped full plant. The coloring changes very little with growing condition or the seasons. New introduction for 2017. (Thompson)
