Family: Gesneriaceae This is a large growing plant with brilliant 3 inch yellow flowers and bright orange tips. This summer bloomer makes an impressive hanging basket. As a tropical plant, it requires a warm, humid environment and needs a porous potting mix. Give plenty of light, but no direct sunlight. It's not cold hardy. This epiphytic species hails from Malaysia and Indonesia. (B,F,H)
